SAP BW and Embedded Analytics

SAP Business Warehouse (BW) is a robust data warehousing solution designed to help organizations effectively manage, analyze, and leverage their enterprise data. As a part of the SAP ecosystem, BW plays a crucial role in facilitating business intelligence and reporting by providing a centralized repository for structured and unstructured data.

As a new solution in SAP products, Embedded analytics refers to the integration of analytics capabilities directly within operational applications and business processes. SAP has embraced embedded analytics as a strategic approach to empower users with real-time insights without the need to switch between different applications.

Here I have written some features about SAP BW and SAP Embedded Analytics.

SAP Business Warehouse (BW):

1. Data Integration and Transformation: SAP BW enables seamless integration of data from various sources within an organization. Through Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, it transforms raw data into a structured format suitable for analytical processing.

2. Data Modeling and Storage: The platform allows for the creation of robust data models that support complex analytical queries. With scalable storage capabilities, BW can handle vast amounts of data efficiently.

3. Advanced Analytics and Reporting: SAP BW provides advanced analytics capabilities, allowing users to perform complex queries and analyses on their data. The platform supports a variety of reporting tools, including SAP Business Explorer (BEx) and SAP Analytics Cloud, enabling users to create insightful and visually appealing reports and dashboards.

4. Integration with SAP and Non-SAP Systems: BW seamlessly integrates with other SAP solutions, such as SAP ERP and SAP S/4HANA, as well as non-SAP systems. In this file, I have attempted to define the position of SAP BW within the structure of information systems. Additionally, BW and Embedded Analytics systems have been introduced, and their architectures have been explained.

Finally I have presented how BW and Embedded Analytics can be connected to presentation layer and also how these two features can be integrated with each other.
